In Q4 2024, the air travel app market in Norway saw varied performance across the top five applications on the iOS platform. This analysis provides insights based on data from Sensor Tower.

Norwegian Travel Assistant showed consistent weekly downloads, peaking at around 3.9K at the beginning of October before gradually declining to about 2.4K by the end of December. Weekly active users initially rose from 74.7K to a high of 86.3K by mid-October, followed by a decrease to 65.7K at the end of the quarter.

SAS – Scandinavian Airlines had a steady download rate, starting at 3.3K and closing the quarter with 2.6K. Active users fluctuated, beginning at 51.4K, reaching a peak of 57K in mid-December, and ending at 54.2K.

Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker experienced notable weekly revenue, beginning at $6K in early October, with a slight dip to $4K by early December before climbing back to $5K by the end of the year. Downloads varied, initially at 1.4K, with a significant spike to 5.3K during the Christmas week. Active users started at 19.3K, dipped in November, and ended strong at 18.7K.

KLM - Book a flight maintained a moderate download trend, beginning at 1.8K and decreasing to just above 1K by December's end. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 6.2K and slightly decreasing to 5.7K.

Lastly, Lufthansa saw a gradual decline in downloads from 1.3K to 0.7K over the quarter, with active users mirroring this trend, starting at 3.8K and ending at 2.8K.
